On Saturday 23rd June I will be swimming 1 mile in Lake Windermere as part of the Great North Swim. The water will be cold and I will look very fetching in my wetsuit (not!) but it is for a brilliant cause.

Why I am Swimming
I am raising money for Gordon Jayson’s ovarian cancer research foundation. Gordon works at the Christie Hospital and he was the doctor for an amazing person, Orly Tenzer, who passed away aged 29 in 2010. Orly’s brother, Yoni, is one of my best friends and I wanted to raise money for this amazing foundation. Orly was an incredible person, she won awards in New York for her fashion designs and she was as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside.
The swim takes place over the entire weekend but my slot is at 10am on the Saturday. The start and finish point is just across the road from the Low Wood Hotel and the atmosphere is incredible! If anyone wants to come and support me on the day (or laugh at me in a wetsuit) I’d love to see you there.
Please help me raise as much money as possible and thank you for your support in advance!
