FireCask is looking for a Content Marketing Manager. This role will involve heading up FireCask’s content marketing offering. In order to take on this role you will need to have the ability to establish and build relationships with online media outlets, manage a small but growing team, contribute to proposals, client pitches and monthly reports and work across a range of different sectors and industries. We expect candidates to be able to think creatively and be comfortable working with different types of content.

You will work closely with the Content, Search and Social Media teams to create and manage proposals and client reports. We expect you to have a minimum of 2 years experience in an agency or client side environment, and be willing to continually expand your knowledge and passing that knowledge to your colleagues.

Roles & Experience

  • Oversee FireCask’s content marketing offering
  • Campaign management
  • Client management, from day-to-day correspondence, weekly calls, to face-to-face meetings
  • Manage a team of content marketing and outreach/digital PR executives
  • Content ideation and the ability to take ideas from concept to published content
  • Establish, build and manage relationships with online media outlets, webmasters, bloggers and social influencers (outreach/PR)
  • Develop content strategies for clients across a wide range of sectors
  • Monthly reporting on campaigns
  • Generation of organic online coverage in line with client campaigns
  • Oversee and consult on proposals
  • Development of staff (setting of KPIs, creation of development plans and regular update meetings)
  • Lead weekly update meetings on client progress
  • Pitching for new business (where appropriate)
  • Working closely with the directors and head of search to plan company development and growth

Minimum Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
  • Provide examples of previous successful campaigns
  • Management experience
  • An understanding of broader marketing channels (PPC, Email, Social Media) is desirable
  • Knowledge of WordPress or other CMS systems is desirable
  • An understanding of other areas of SEO best practices is desirable
