We worked primarily on Beauty Bay’s Edited site for their relaunch and rebrand in July 2019. We updated and cleaned up their old WordPress installation which had excessive plugins and outdated code to work with the latest version of WordPress. FireCask implemented the full pixel-perfect design refresh to fit into the new Beauty Bay branding.
We did this by first creating specific production and staging environments to handle the required reverse proxy for the site to keep URL structure/branding.
Before launch we performed speed and security updates, stripping out unnecessary WordPress modules along with enhanced browser caching, gzipping, security headers and a general hardening of WordPress.
