I am proud to say that I have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Forward Ladies, Women in Business Awards 2012 (WiBA). The award ceremony will take place at the Midland Hotel in the centre of Manchester on 26th November. Forward Ladies is a networking group for women and they organise a wide variety of events from business breakfasts and wine evenings to having motivational speakers and mentoring sessions.
Update: I WON the Young Businesswoman of the Year Award!
I am proud to announce that I have been named Young Business Woman of the Year 2012 in the Forward Ladies Women in Business Awards. I would like to congratulate all of the finalists on their achievements and thank you to the judges who awarded me this honour.
Forward Ladies was set up by Etta Cohen in 2000 and now has a network of over 13,500 women across the UK. Women from different sectors, industries and companies are all part of this national business networking group.
I have worked so hard over the last 3 years to overcome challenges and get to where I want to be and I am proud of what I have achieved, having 3 men as business partners is a challenge in itself (I love them all really!). To think that 3 years ago I was working as a commercial property solicitor and now I am a director of an international digital marketing company, at the age of 26, with a reputation for writing great content (and being able to put away numerous sambuca shots!) is truly amazing. I would like to thank Forward Ladies for short listing me as a finalist in the Young Business Woman of the Year category and I cannot wait for the awards ceremony…keep your fingers crossed for me!
