Giving up a Night in Bed
On May 16th I will be giving up a night in bed to sleep on the pitch of the Lancashire County Cricket Club in Old Trafford as part of the CEO Sleepout Manchester event.
So far, this event has been carried out across the UK with over 400 executives taking part and raising over £680,000 and now it is our fine city's turn! The money raised will be split between some amazing organisation who help to fight homelessness and poverty such as Booth Centre and Mustard Tree.
Having worked with charities such as Mustard Tree over the last few years it has become so clear to me that the work they do is so necessary and important. They not only help those who are currently homeless but also help to prevent more from finding themselves in the same situation as well as giving people vital skills and tools to help benefit their lives.
