The British Council works with governments and their partners in the education, English language and cultural sectors. Working in the UK and globally, they help individuals gain the skills, confidence and connections to transform their lives and shape a better world.

Brief

As a brand identity agency, we were able to create designs and wireframes for one of the British Council’s owned brands that would become their new website.

How a website looks can improve sales, generate leads and influence users. We create unique website designs for a range of clients that engage with audiences, increase profits and stand out from the crowd. This was our aim with one of the British Council’s owned brands, as we had to design a unique website that would engage audiences and influence users to get involved with their educational sectors.

The wireframing we conducted focused on the space allocation and prioritisation of content, the functionalities available and the intended behaviours of the site.

The services we provided for the British Council focused on two main elements:

  • Wireframes for design

We wanted to create branding for the client that would stand out and be instantly recognisable, using bespoke strategies and unique designs.

Summary

The whole project was completed in 10 business days, as we aimed to get a quick turnover to allow the British Council to get the new site up and running as soon as possible.

In total, we created 15 wireframes. This allowed us to better evaluate their UX/UI, streamline the design process and help refine the navigation of the site. On top of this, we applied three personas that established the relevant roles and behavioural characteristics of the site.
