Brief

Basil + Lily, an Italian aperitivo bar needed a visual identity and branding to bring fine wines & good times to the heart of Prestwich.

Starting with a blank canvas, a new brand image and visual identity was developed to match the interior decor of the bar itself.

Accents of gold and copper were set against a navy blue background, the visual identity needed to encapsulate the mood of a tuscan night sky, bringing a little piece of Italy to Manchester.

Summary

The website itself needed to be easily navigable with menus, contact information and booking form accessible from any point on the site.

An innovative natural language booking form ensured making a reservation was an intuitive process, across desktop and mobile devices.

Along with the digital branding, print materials and interior design elements were part of the process.

Results

Following a successful launch event, Basil + Lily has gone from strength to strength, enjoying sell-out bottomless brunches and coverage in publications such as the Manchester Evening News, Manchester Confidential and the Bury Times.
