FireCask worked closely with Beauty Bay to develop their edited blog page. We integrated all their new branding into the same site, as we both host and maintain it.
We host them on a server proxy, which means that the blog is on a different server but resides in a subfolder. This makes it all seem as though it is all part of the same site, even though it is not.

We worked primarily on Beauty Bay’s Edited site for their relaunch and rebrand in July 2019. We updated and cleaned up their old WordPress installation which had excessive plugins and outdated code to work with the latest version of WordPress. FireCask implemented the full pixel-perfect design refresh to fit into the new Beauty Bay UK branding.
The main focus of our work with Beauty Bay was to update their website using WordPress, as we cleaned up their old installation. We achieved the results by first creating specific production and staging environments to handle the required reverse proxy for the site to keep URL structure/branding.
Before launch we performed speed and security updates, stripping out unnecessary WordPress modules along with enhanced browser caching, gzipping, security headers and a general hardening of WordPress. At the same time, it was vital to create a design that took into account UX/UI to ensure the website and brand work in the most efficient and effective way possible. This was to achieve a seamless online experience.
We also host them and still provide maintenance and consultancy. This is to ensure that their site continues to function effectively.
